Scope of the Contract:
Installation works of the excitation and eddy current starter cabinet for a 6 kV cement mill motor with a power of 3.2 MW.
As part of the contract, Elproinstal carried out the following scope of works:
- Dismantling of the existing installation and installation of a new excitation cabinet and excitation transformer.
- Installation of a new eddy current starter cabinet.
- Power supply to the excitation cabinet with a new 4x(1x150mm²) cable from the cement mill switchgear.
- Power supply to the new excitation cabinet with a new 21x(1x150mm²) cable from the transformer.
- Laying and connecting control and measurement cables between the excitation cabinet, eddy current starter, and cement mill switchgear.
- Extension of the cement mill switchgear cabinet to enable signal exchange between the Main Power Substation (GPZ) and the excitation cabinet.
- Installation of a communication system between the GPZ and the cement mill cabinet.
- Integration of signals from the Main Power Substation( GPZ )into the supervisory system.
- Installation and connection of measurement signals from the main cement mill motor to the system.
- Installation and connection of 6 kV measurement transformers on the primary power supply side of the motor.
- Installation and connection of 6 kV measurement transformers used for differential-current protection for the main motor supply; signal integration into the Main Power Substation (GPZ ) and cement mill cabinet.
- Commissioning works for the electrical and control system, including signal testing, preparation of the system for startup, and execution of the startup process.
